Will Stackpole conducts students of the Juilliard School in the concert premiere of his new work Interle[a]ve. The concert will feature many other works by emerging composers at Juilliard and is free to the public.
In collaboration with choreographer Claudia Schreier, and commissioned by the NYCB, Interleave, explores the intercutting of simultaneous ideas. The work was written in the Fall of 2016 and will be choreographed during this year's Spring session of the Choreographic Institute in the first two weeks of March. Conductor David Robertson leads the NJSO as part of the Edward T. Cone Composition Institute.

On Monday, November 9th, "Tender", a piece for cello and piano, will be performed by Branson Yeast and Adam Rothenberg in Paul Hall at the Juilliard School as part of the second composers' chamber concert of the 2015-16 season. On Saturday November 7th, Will Stackpole's "String Quartet: L" will be performed at Spectrum in New York City as part of the LIVE45 Concert Series. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
On Monday, October 19th, "2 Miles from Here", a piece for brass quintet, will be performed at Morse Hall at the Juilliard School as part of the first composers' chamber concert of the 2015-16 season.
